The Experience
Every aspect of your wedding is fraught with details. When it comes to your show stopping cake, there is no exception.
However, I will work in my creative sphere to give you the cake of your dreams—both in taste, and design. Because the majority of my work requires hours of hands-on craft, working within a well harmonized schedule is paramount.
Potential clients should submit as many details as possible in the form below to ensure I can efficiently guide our time together moving forward. Everything starts with the form. Life is breathed through the form. Sanity is kept in the form. Can you tell I dig the form?

Know your Budget
Although an exact number is difficult to pinpoint, it is important to have an idea going in, what your ballpark budget will be for desserts/cake you are serving your VIP guests. The two main factors in helping to guide your budget are Design Dreams and Guest Count.
The minimum wedding dessert order is $750.
If our wedding dessert minimum is above your budget, please see the Cutting Cake section below for a simple, tall single tier cutting cake only.
Most of my clients budget an average of $800-$2000, but it truly comes down to design elements and size of order. So it may be less, or it could be thousands more. Beyond the $750 minimum, however, you can easily “eyeball” your budgetary base with these numbers:
Buttercream or Ganache Frosted Cakes begin at $10/slice
Fondant Draped Cakes begin at $12/slice
Design elements, such as pallet knife painting, sugar or wafer flowers, fondant art, or other artistic flare may be in addition to the base, per-slice, price. They may increase the per slice cost by $.50-$2, or $10.
The point is, no two cakes are alike, and so giving you concrete numbers at this stage is futile for both of us. We will discuss your unique and special design to find harmony with your budget and your dreams. Whether you desire a clean minimalistic look, or a show stopping work of art worthy of the Smithsonian (ok…a cake girl has dreams too you know), I will work with you to find that perfect fit.
Make sure you also factor in the delivery fee. Minimum $75, but could be more, based on round trip mileage from the cake studio here in Auburn, WA, and/or the extent of set-up involved.
Mileage is based on $2.25/mile, beyond the initial $75 delivery and set up fee. I DO travel out of state and abroad for weddings. Travel fees, such as gas, lodging, and airfare, will need to be considered.

Get in Touch
Once I receive your fully filled out form, I will check for availability and get back to you within 48 hours. Generally, even the same day. But depending on what’s on the calendar, or time of year, a delay may be necessary.

For semi-naked cakes, or simply frosted buttercream cakes, using fresh florals provided by your florist, I will happily mail you a taster box and we can then discuss your cake details over the phone or via FaceTime or Zoom.

Do you need a cutting cake?
Please make a note when you fill out the wedding cake form!
Not every occasion requires a tiered cake and desserts to feed 50, 100, 200+ guests. Whether you're having a micro-wedding, or simply need a safe but stunning gluten-free cutting cake while you plan to serve your guests an array of gluten-FUL desserts, I can provide a lovely confection worthy of wedding pictures, taste buds, and that oh so special tradition of feeding each other cake. This option is reserved for those who ONLY want a cutting cake, and no other cake or desserts provided by Cake & Crumble. For options that include desserts for your guests, please note the different pricing structure, where no matter what is ordered, the price begins at $750.
Our curated extra tall 6"-round Cutting Cakes are $250 for a single flavor, cleanly iced, with no additional decoration included. Serves 24. Pending my availability, delivery and set up is an option. (see delivery rates) Please know designs such as ganache drip, macarons, florals I am to add (either fresh, or made from sugar) will increase the price of your cutting cake. Please indicate in your Wedding Inquiry Form if this is the option you would like to discuss.
